Apple Half Marathon

Half marathon effort targeting sub 90 minutes

After putting down a 3 year goal - completing a 5k race in under 20 minutes, the aim is to now extend the fitness and range into a 90 minute half marathon.


This training block will be a short one at only 3 weeks with a taper, but should be a good punchy push to get the threshold pace faster and efficiency up.


Running backwards, weight pack runs, speedwork and training the stomach to refuel during a hard effort are the focii.
