Fitness Programming

Programming is done by assessing vertical dimension of state, and plotting out the horizontal dimensions of stress. This map will allow us to navigate your state/stress space while staying properly oriented for physical fitness to serve spiritual fitness.

 Like the 4 seasons, there are 4 states of being. These are not under your control, but like the seasons can be predicted.:
- Struggle

- Failure

- Persistence

- Rest

These stressors can be under your control and stimulate adaptation:

- Intensity

- Frequency

- Duration

- Recovery

Fuel

Food. Air.

Food traditions are almost completely lost in the west and this is the starting point to fueling programs. Unlocking our heritage gives us hundreds or thousands of years of experience eating specific food prepared in specific ways according to our ancestary.

Modern hydration, electrolytes and fueling lend to better performance. Attaining to excellence  means NOT throwing the baby out with the bathwater of modern tools. The ancestral diet works, and it works better when it is supplemented wisely.

Endurance

Grind. Grit,

The will to continue begins with the heart. Cardio AND vascular work together. Develop resilience against the slow and grinding forces of the world. Modern tools such as blood flow restriction and old tools like control over breathing, and core bracing will build up support the heart and lungs.

Power

Speed. Snap.

Explosiveness with little to no warning is imperative to survival. Sprinting, throwing, and jumping are the courses in this program.

Strength

You need strength.

Young? you need strength. Old? you need strength. Runner? Need it.

    Online 1 hour consultation regarding fitness goals. We will hand off a program to be followed. An additional 30 minute checkin scheduled weekly to make adjustments and be accountable.
     
  • Consultation and Program Development

    75$
     
    30 Minute consultation of fitness goals and faith life to determine a program that helps you use your workouts as a tool to serve Christ. Follow up sessions can be booked to make adjustments.
    Valid for 12 months
